My love for baseball began as a young boy growing up worshipping the Boston Red Sox. I played from Little League all the way up to Varsity baseball at Somerset High School. As a young left-handed pitcher, I had aspirations to play college baseball. I fell short of that goal due to an accident I was involved in over my sophomore-junior year summer vacation. Never able to get back to the level of play prior to my accident, I decided to hang them up and begin my coaching career.
It was time to teach others how to play the game that I love. I am now a Physical Education teacher at Somerset High School as well as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach. Other involvement in baseball consists of Somerset Legion, Bay State Games, and numerous clinics and camps. I have a love for teaching and coaching that I take great pride in.
I not only strive to make my student athletes better ballplayers but more importantly better human beings. My wife (Nicole) and children (Kaitlyn, Brandon, & Matthew) are the only thing I love more than the game of baseball. I enjoy working with Brian at his camps and clinics as I also learn from Brian myself. I look forward with great anticipation to the next opportunity at Brian Rose Baseball camp.
